Her Name

In silence she waits. calmly she states,

“I am dying…”

“I do not know how long I have left.”

Her smile is late, my reply I contemplate.

Confused and in shame, I can not say her name.

Her eyes are clear, they show no fear.

They search my mind, in distance and time.

She bows her head and whispers softly with sadness,

“I speak not of death… I only seek light. I speak not of now, I only seek night”

Riddled with muddled emotions my words seemingly attack,

“Speak clear and right! Explain to me your sight!”

In reply,
as a silent sigh…
She falls to her knees and begins to cry,

“I see a life I have not lived”

“I see a world that does not give”

“I dream of gardens and beauty beyond”

“I dream of a love that may never be found”

“I have waited so long,
I have been patient and strong”

“Finally I break,
these walls I forsake”

Then silence

I heard her.
Inside.

She is right,

As clear as the moon is tonight.

I can not say her name

She is I and I the same

I understand her pain

I am in a sense her very shame

She is not dying a different death

She is not breathing a different breath

She is only helpless to change

that which remains forever the same

She knows I know.

With this she lifts her head, she begins to rise… focus arrives upon her eyes.

“you know very little of forever.”,

she smiles as she begins to fade.

See Me

The truth is clear

The knowledge is here

Buried within your Soul

Shunned by your Mind

*

Could it be this simple

The answer to it all

Could it be the reason

The meaning of your Fall

*

Where are those wings

The ones which gave you flight

The ones which protected you

The ones which shone so bright

*

Where is the fire

The one which burned so pure

The flames of innocence

The intensity of life

*

I stand before you

You bow before me

I reach for you

You fall at my feet

*

I take your hand

I lift your face

I try to calm you

I try to take your disgrace

*

Your eyes are veiled

As you look within yourself

Your eyes show nothing

Only believing the truth which has failed

*

Do you see  the truth?

The wisdom which is here.

Open your heart and mind

Remove the illusions from which you hide

*

Be it the truth that captures

Be it the lie that sets you free

Be it that I

I am the you

The you that you see

Time and Miracles

“The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once.”
~Albert Einstein

Living
Dying
Laughing
Crying
The first sunrise
The last sunset
The first love
The last break
The first time you were awed
the last time you were disappointed
The first time you cried
The last time you laughed
The first life you missed
the last life you gave
Can you imagine all this at once?

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.”
~Albert Einstein

Forever Before

I remembered a time

A time which did not belong to me

I remembered a place

A place which existed only for me

I heard a prayer

A prayer which parted my lips only decades before

I felt so sure

The knowing I lived with

the knowing I died with

the knowing I created

forever shall be

forever has been

with.

me .

forever.

As I pray once more

it remains

forever before

Judge of Inquiry

Full of questions.

Do they deserve answers?

Who is the judge of these matters?

Who holds the wisdom?

Who listens to the minds of millions?

Ever pining away hours with mysteries

Is it Him?

If it is Him

How does He choose

How does He designate the knowledge?

Perhaps behind every question is an answer…

One which speaks softly with the chatter of the mind

Perhaps the answers of the world are only mirages

For people seeking an unworthy truth…

If ever there be an unworthy answer

Perhaps they seek the clear path… already traveled…

Either place reached before… perhaps it is Him… before us… within us… waiting patiently for us to listen…

Perhaps it is Him… Perhaps I hear Him…

“Full of questions…

which do deserve answers…

I am the Judge of Inquiry…

I hold the wisdom…

it is here…

within my palm…

within a grain of sand…

is this your truth?”

Perhaps…

The I

I want to feel what I can not see

Look beyond my minds eye

Find within the sacred ties

I want to touch what is not real

Beneath my skin

To reach from within

I want to forget that which I have learned

Believe in what can not be proven

Perceive what has been hidden

Can I wake from this dream?

My Body

My mind

Through space

Through time

Can I finish this task?

Challenge my purpose

Take off the masks

Can I feel what can not be heard?

Breathe what cannot be seen

Hunger for knowledge and feast upon wisdom

Will I reach the end

Where time will lapse

When matter will suspend

All can be learned if only one listens to the questions… the infinite questions
