And He said…
“I will show you how it began”

He showed a place
Beautiful full of grace

He brought me to the start
“Feel the light,
Not far is the heart”

He took me there
Free of worry
Free of care

He showed me a tree
Roots and limbs free

Life breathes
Through the leaves

In this place
Beautiful full of grace
There was peace

Then He said…
“I will show you how it ends”

He brought upon me confusion
He brought upon me chaos

He showed me birth
He showed me death

He took me there
Free of worry
Free of care

He showed me a tree
Roots and limbs free

Then He said…
“Do you see?
Life is the tree,
In the beginning,
This is the end”

“I wish not confusion upon thee”

“I wish only you to see,
What a cycle life can be”

Emotion is life…
Through birth and death
Sadness is happiness
Life is death

“Although masked by the same,
You have given it a name”

Shame

Have you ever seen shame

The glimpse of hurt within the shadow of the eye

The glimmer of hope fading with every second of realization

 

Have you ever tried to feel the hurt of another

When the moment comes 

The attack falling on ones Soul

The pain ravaging the Mind

To see the truth
 To feel the answer

Some call it empathy

To bestow is apathy

To acknowledge is neccessity

That is wisdom

 

For I have seen shame

The sadness and despair

The energy of pain

I wish never to see it again

    The answer to my question is no… I never wore braces when I was young. I did however wear really funny looking glasses. 🙂

    2. Gypsy Heart… what led you to painting…( thank God for your gift)… if you could imagine doing anything else as good… what would it be?

    3. Zenuria… I know of your travels and adventures… if you could have an ideal set of circumstances where you could travel and see the world… where would you go first?

    4. Sorrow… what’s the first thing you would do if you became president?

    5. Glaize  … If you witness one natural phenomenon what would it be?

    6. Cordie… If you won the lottery what is the first thing you would do?

    7. Sanity… this is gonna have to be a good one… if you could spend one hour in someone elses shoes… who would it be and what would you do?

    My dear friend sent this to me… it is secrets to happiness and I share them with you… shhhh….

    20 Secrets to Happiness

    1. Return everything you borrow.

    2. Stop Blaming other People.

    3. Live within your means and within your seams.

    4. Be Humble.

    5. Listen more; talk less.

    6. Everyday, do something nice and try not to get caught.

    7. Strive for excellence, not perfection.

    8. Be on Time.

    9. Don’t criticize anyone for 24 hours.

    10. Be kind to other people.

    11. Be even kinder to unkind people.

    12. Take time to be alone.

    13. Admit it when you make a mistake.

    Is your life yours?
    Do you live for you?

    Are you a prisoner to life?
    Or do you lead your own?

    We live day to day and hide.
    Behind a veil we hide

    Afraid to reveal our beauty

    Afraid to remove the mask.

    Are you in control?
    Can you let it go?

    We forget to look closely.
    What we do not see
    Owns us.

    What we do not see
    Controls us.

    Deep down inside
    The place where we hide
    Our soul stirs
    It screams
    It pleads

    “Remove the mask!”

    If you hide in society
    If you live in shame for goodness
    Your soul is in shame
    Your soul screams in vain.

    All that renders lost feelings
    All that gives forth hope
    Begins to fade away.
    We are not in control
    We need our souls.
