My Time

An angel came softly,
“Your time is coming”

Scared she knew,
“I am not ready!”

Angel questioned quietly,
“What were you waiting for?”

She thought loudly,
“I didn’t think it would be this soon.”

Interested Angel asked,
“What do you think Life is? What of destiny?”

Confused she pleaded,
“Please, I need more time”

In silence and serenity Angle spoke,
“Why shall I grant it to you? Deep inside you knew the rules. No one controls fate.”

She knew, she finally understood,
“What have I done?”

Angel sat serene, pondering her troubles,
“I mean you no sadness, only peace. Most do as you have done, they wait. For what, I know not.”
“Your time is close at hand. I grant you this one moment. For it is sad, you all hold so much”

Her relief passed through into worry and grief.
“One moment? I need more time, what is a moment?”

Bewildered Angel spoke,
“You have had this gift, and yet, still you ask more. You have had this Life, and still you need more. Always more, that is why you choose to remain? Yearn for more time? What more could you want?”

Unable to respond, she sat. Then sadly she answered.
“I just want more time. Just more time.”

Angel replied,
“Time? That my friend is subjective. Now take this moment and face this moment as if you are free. Live this moment for you. For this moment will pass. It will leave you, as will I. Only when I leave, I take with me your desire for time. I will show you your desire is nothing greater than a veil, a mirage. I will not fill the void, I will let it be. So focus on Life and leave times distraction behind.”

Unlimited Knowledge

“To be conscious that you are ignorant is a great step to knowledge.”

~Benjamin Disreali (1804-1881), Sybil, 1845

How much do we truly know about science? I love the sciences, mainly physics and some psuedo-sciences. For no other reason but pure awe and wonderment. I am no Einstein, but I try to teach myself in all fields, I try to understand. Sometimes I wonder…Have we created or given names to these “things”, do they truly exist in the form that we perceive? Have we defined our reality and demystified life? Is this what we were meant to do?

I personally think knowledge is the key to life, but what sort of knowledge? Have we created light, yes and no. Have we created fire and power, yes and no. Are we capable of creating life, yes and no. Are we capable of creating death, yes and no. Have we become God? Yes and no.

Now separate these questions and define them.

Is it DNA or is it something we have discovered and named. If God were to come down and say,”No…you’ve got it all wrong”, Would you believe? I wonder…how many things we have created from some other larger canvas? What have we here but a fragment of a larger portrait. I don’t know…but that is why we are here…to learn.

Powerful questions to analyze. The answers could be defined as yes according to our definitions and our languages. But most definitely no, according to our general “Knowledge”… it is like the chicken and the egg…which came first?

Puzzles upon puzzles, stacked blocks of knowledge ready to be glued forever in human history…one catch, there is and never will be a definitive answer. We have molded our minds and preconditioned ourselves for the “truth”. Yet, I see and know no truths. Perhaps one day we will hold The Book of Life with all answers, perhaps one day we will glimpse the truth… reality… perhaps one day.

Ecclesiastes

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

So Far

Watching

Waiting

Gazing silently at the horizon… listening to my heart

All my thoughts escaped

At peace

All my thoughts escaped

But only for a moment

For they shall return

They shall come flooding into my mind

Harkening to my soul

Bombarding me with feelings

Regret, longing, memories, failures… want

I see it

Where I envision myself

I feel it

My Soul waits in confusion

Two lives

Two desires

One pure

One tainted

My soul waits in contemplation

It doesn’t know what to feel

So much has simply passed

time

dreams

thoughts

knowledge simply slipping though the mind

landing on the wings of an angel

she waits

arms reaching to entrust the moments lost

“your answers”

she waits

I get tired of looking

The horizon so far away

Of all my wants

Of all my searching

I want to be complete

I want to be one

Mind and Soul

Letting the ego go

Yet it is so far

One must travel the endless journey

To meet the horizon

This journey

Is life

And life

As the horizon

is infinite

Let us live

Journey to the end of the world

It may be far

So far

It may be

Let it be

My Angel

My Angel
Are you there when I sigh?

Do you feel it when I cry?

Do you feel it when I die?

My Angel

Are you lonely for me?
Do I harken a cry too painful for thee

Am I selfish

For questioning and neglecting you

Are you happy?

Am I?

My Angel

Do I make you smile?

Do I make you laugh?

Do you feel my heart?

Are you near my path?

I wish to be…

I wish to do…

I wish you near

For eternity…

My Angel
Can you feel it?

The life which you guide.

Can you hear it?

My soul filled with pride.

My Angel
Is He great?

As great as you?
Can you relate?

Perhaps a fate for you…

My Angel
I wish to see

As the blind enlightened

I wish to hear

As the deaf awakened

I wish to speak

With the voice forever silent

I wish to touch

With the purity of the mind

My Angel
Call me home
Together, never alone

I pray to Him
Do you hear me?
My Angel

I feel for Him
Do you feel me?
My Angel

I cry for Him
Are you there?
My Angel

I speak to him

Perhaps you, my angel

Beyond Man

I ask of truth

I ask of reality

I ponder the mystery
Seek an illusive history

I try to understand
A language we do not comprehend

It speaks inside our souls
A language and rhythm
It is all so old

Since the dawn of time
We have always known

Since its time is past
It will always last

We will see
It will be

We will understand
All of this is beyond man

If

If there is light in the soul,
There will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person,
There will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
