Across my studies I came upon this concept. Forgetting all differences in religion and accepting what we all are(human), this seems to be the “right” definition of “God”.
“God is all” Pantheism “All is God”. It is the view that everything is God, and God is all. It states that the Universe, Nature and God are all equivalent. In other words natural law, existence and the universe is God. Interpreting the Bible, and peoples preconceived notions of reality can relate to this. When we see natures beauty and wrath, or stare up at the heavens, we see God. Believe what you will, Intelligent Design, Bible, Torah, Koran…it all fits. It is all one. The Universe and Earth are all in the same space. We are all in the same Life.
Our understanding of God is small. We know what we were taught. We know what we feel, and what we feel is Life. Somehow it all fits into a puzzle, Life and all. One connected maze leading us to the supreme reality, leading us to knowledge.

I would respectfully disagree with pantheism. Certainly, God is in all, but God is not all. God & I are not one, else there would be no separation between Creator & created.

I respect both of your opinions. Ereal, great answer! Religion is filled with ideas that make no sense. Usually followed by “but they are not mean to,” or “you just do not understand.” In any case, I’m not religious, but one of my good friends is. He says “god is a metaphor for the transcendent.” I totally agree. I’m pretty patheistic myself, though I don’t believe the universe cares about me or anyone. Yet, when people care about people, the Universe is sorta caring for them in it’s form as people. Unfortunately this applies to people hating each other .
My term is Panentheism. We are all part of God, and God is part of all of us.
We are all one.

The concept that God is all and all is God is very profound. We must all be connected to our source. Our search along our journey really is the search for how to reconnect to our source.
Pantheism, by some definitions, is another form of atheism. It is a way to acknowledge our sense of awe for the universe.
