Five is the number of years it has been since you left. Since you ascended to heaven, since you went home. Five is the number of years it has been since I have seen your smile, heard your laughs and seen the joy radiating out of your eyes . Five will be the number, tomorrow, or today, or yesterday. Or FIve years from now. No matter , five is the number on my mind. Time goes on. Memories fade and all we have are the shadows of time. The whispers on the wind, the fragrances in the air and the lingering heaviness of dreams… but I have you forever in my heart and you are forever remembered in my soul.
I miss you dad

Beautiful tribute, Enreal. I can feel the love in your words.
Thank you Tim, I am glad you do.
*hug*
thank you… I needed that 😉
How time flies!!! It’s weird how time warps our memories, isn’t it? When they first leave, we swear we will remember every little detail about every little thing. But memories begin to fade around the edges a bit…next month marks the 12th anniversary of my own father’s passing and while it seems like “just yesterday”, it also feels like another lifetime ago that we shared space on this planet together.
Happy holidays, sweet Enreal. I hope that you experience greater amounts of peace and joy in the coming year, than ever before.
You are so right my friend… it is very weird….
you too about the holidays, blessings and peace and joy and love and all which could and will possibly come true for you… 😀
Such a wonderful tribute! Enreal.
Thank you my friend
