Forgive me, Enreal, but I’m confused. If the person (to me it’s a she) is asking the other to promise that she is not reason, why does she say it will always be her at the very end?

she is asking for an easy way out of guilt, she knows the guilt and knows the cause, yet she wants absolution…
it will and has always been her burden, whether it is insecurity or deceit or simply self sabotage, she knows, yet she wants condolences, she wants to be reassured that it is alright, that she will be alright no matter her behavior or mainly her subconscious thoughts… she wants to know and be forgiven, mainly be herself
the title was going to be self sabotage, but I wanted to leave it open for interpretation.
Ahh, I see it now. Thanks for the explanation. I tend to overthink things. ;P
